They say a picture is worth a thousand words but I think they must mean a thousand ordinary, boring words. Funny words, on the other hand… well, that’s a different story.
I just read about a bride who, when it came to asking her friends and family for their addresses (we all know what a pain in the butt it is to do that), elected to send out a witty, cheeky email which I’m sure made everyone laugh.
It’s just another example of how even the littlest things you do will set the tone for your wedding day. (I don’t know about you, but I’m betting that her wedding is going to be a hoot!)
This reminded me of the email that my own darling fiance sent out to the masses:
Hey,
So it’s a sad sad day for the ladies around the world: [Fiance] is almost officially off the market. Now is your chance to get a golden ticket to witness this momentous occasion. If we’ve spoken recently, you know how much fun I’m having planning wedding stuff so if you love me and feel my pain please please please reply to this email (no need to do a ‘Reply All’ mom) with your mailing address ASAP.
